Software Engineer
Build thoughtful, resilient software by understanding real customer problems and turning them into solutions that work.
We are looking for a builder who gets excited about solving real problems with software. The work starts with understanding what a customer is trying to accomplish, then designing and building a solution that is fast, thoughtful, and resilient.
Some requirements will arrive clearly defined. Others will start as a customer conversation, a support issue, or a rough idea that needs someone to ask the right questions and make it real.
- Access to the latest AI tech, plus the time to experiment with it.
- Fully remote. Work from anywhere.
- Low-BS culture: minimal meetings, no micromanagement, no politics.
- Real ownership of challenging, production-critical problems.
- Modern full-stack technologies that keep your skills sharp.
- A culture of learning, sharing, and staying ahead together.
- Join customer calls and remote sessions to hear problems firsthand, ask good questions, and understand what the customer is trying to accomplish.
- Work closely with the support and product teams to make sense of customer needs, production issues, and opportunities to improve the software.
- Translate unclear or evolving requirements into a simple technical plan with sensible tradeoffs.
- Build, test, and ship full-stack features, integrations, internal tools, and production fixes.
- Create solutions that move quickly without becoming fragile, with clear design and resilience where it matters.
- Diagnose production issues and follow the problem through to a durable resolution.
- Use AI extensively to explore options, prototype faster, understand unfamiliar systems, and improve the quality of your work.
- Explain progress, tradeoffs, and technical decisions clearly to technical and nontechnical people.
- Contribute through code review, documentation, and the steady improvement of how the team builds software.
- A body of work you can show us, such as professional projects, GitHub work, open source contributions, or a product you built yourself.
- Hands-on experience taking substantive software from an idea to something that works.
- A strong listener who is comfortable talking with customers by phone, video, and remote session.
- The ability to hear an ambiguous business problem, ask smart questions, and turn it into working software.
- Comfort moving across parts of a system and learning unfamiliar technology quickly.
- Good judgment about when to move fast, when to slow down, and how to avoid overengineering.
- Curiosity, persistence, and ownership when the path is not already mapped out.
- Experience with C#/.NET, Node.js, React, cloud platforms, integrations, or production SaaS systems is useful, but this is not a keyword checklist.
This is an early-career engineering role, but it is not an introduction to software development. We care more about what you have built, how you think, and how you communicate than a particular degree or resume path.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, with HSA options.
- Generous paid time off and paid parental leave.
- A flexible, fully remote work environment.
- Hands-on AI training from a team that uses these tools extensively. You will learn practical techniques that can change how you solve problems and what you think is possible.
- A supportive team with zero stuffiness.
- Recognition, team-building, and discounted tech gear.
- Time and support to experiment with new development tools and apply what works.
- Real ownership of production solutions that customers will actually use.
If you have a body of work you are proud of, love solving real-world problems with code, and can make a customer feel heard while you do it, we would like to hear from you.
Ademero is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from different backgrounds and paths who can do the work and contribute to the team.
