- Applies to
- Businesses that acquire, maintain, store or use personal information about Floridians.
- What it asks
- Reasonable measures to protect electronic personal information; notice to affected people no later than 30 days after a breach is determined, and to the Department of Legal Affairs when 500 or more are affected; and records with personal information destroyed by shredding, erasing or making them unreadable when no longer kept.

- Permissions, multi-factor sign-in, an audit trail, and retention schedules with a destruction schedule.
